Music Walk of Fame
Camden music heritage AR
Native ARKit app for Camden’s Music Walk of Fame — scan paving stones for artist AR experiences; 3D R&D included MTV, Prince, Amy Winehouse and Queen prototypes.

Part of the team developing AR experiences for London’s Hollywood Boulevard–style Music Walk of Fame in Camden — honouring artists who shaped the music industry while keeping Camden’s musical heritage alive. Honoured artists receive a paving stone as part of a musical tour of the town.
The app lets visitors scan paving stones to unlock a customised AR experience for each artist. Built natively for iOS with ARKit and SceneKit for quality and to follow Apple’s AR guidelines. Early stages used image markers as anchors; SceneKit particle systems handled effects and model transitions. I worked with 3D modellers and built some models myself in 3ds Max.
Research and development — 3D modelling included an MTV television set, MTV logo and Prince logo. Prototypes covered Amy Winehouse and Queen. Stakeholder demos supported the wider project.
